Benson Chen is one of Malaysia’s best footwear designers and is based in Kuala Lumpur. He is best known for founding the Benson Chen brand at the young age of 19. It has become famous for its hand-made women's footwear.

Benson likes to fuse modern design with perfect comfort, designing dozens of styles with heel heights of 3 inches and higher. The designer's professed goal is to “make a woman look sexy, beautiful, to make her legs look as long as he can.” While high heels are his specialty he does offer some lower-heeled styles. He is generally associated with his stylish eveningwear designs incorporating beaded Swarovzki and high quality leather. He also collaborates with selected international designers.

Benson Chen was born in Penang, Malaysia. He made his first shoe when he was 17 years old by trial and error until he started accepting orders for custom made footwear for his clie...nts. The public soon noticed his quality craftsmanship and designs and he was invited to join the Malaysia Fashion Week as well as various local and international footwear competitions.
